Adding a Fourth Dimension with Shading

The SHADEWITH function can be used to add a fourth "shading" dimension to various three dimensional plots of matrix data.

For example, the current Window contains a rectangular matrix of data shown with a meshed waterfall plot, and W2 contains the column-wise derivative of the data. Typing SHADEWIDTH(W2) will take the data from W2, representing the rate of change of W1, and map it onto the surface of W1 using the shading scheme currently in effect.

The shading scheme currently in effect is either the DADiSP default, or the scheme set with SETSHADING, SETPALETTE, or MAPPALETTE.
