Depending on whether you are running DADiSP on a UNIX-based platform or under Windows, starting DADiSP is a different procedure.
From the TaskBar or Program Manager, double click on the DADiSP entry or icon.
Change to your DADiSP directory. If you do not know where DADiSP is installed on your machine, ask your system administrator.
At the prompt, enter:
dsp
or
bigdsp (for a full-screen version)
Both dsp and bigdsp are simple UNIX script files that invoke Xdadisp, the actual DADiSP program.
Set your default directory to the directory in which the DADiSP files have been installed. If you do not know where DADiSP is installed on your machine, ask your system administrator.
At the prompt, enter:
@DADISP
or
@DSP
These two command files invoke the executable image file xdadisp.exe.
If this is the first time you are running DADiSP on your computer, a blank sample Worksheet will appear on the screen. If this is not your first time running DADiSP, the Worksheet that appears is the same Worksheet that was there when you last exited from DADiSP.
