Each Dataset contains a collection of data series. Datasets are generally used to store related data series. For example, you might keep all the measured channels from a single test together in one Dataset, or you might keep voltage and velocity measurements from different runs of the same experiment in different sequentially-named Datasets.
DADiSP can import data of various formats into a Dataset, just as it can export data from a Dataset. See Chapter 4, "Importing and Exporting Data" for more information.
DADiSP allows up to 100,000 Datasets to be stored in a Labbook.
