If you are creating a number of macros for an application, it is often easier to define and store them in a macro file. A macro file is an ASCII text file that contains the macro name, argument list, and macro expansion for any number of macros. A macro file can also contain comments to document macro usage. There are many macro files shipped with DADiSP and stored in the macros subdirectory. This section describes how to create, read, write, and include macro files.
