Startup Size

Sets the initial application size on startup.

Iconic Start as icon.
Normal Starts in the default size. The startup size can be set with the canvas_width and canvas_height settings specified in the configuration file dadisp.cnf.
Full Screen Maximize the application on startup.
Hidden No display on startup.
Last Size Use the previous application size on startup.

Zoomed Window Size

Sets the initial size of a zoomed window.

Last Size Zoom to the previous zoomed window size.
Half Zoom to half the Worksheet display size.
Half or Image Zoom to half the Worksheet display area or if the window contains an image, zoom to the actual image size.
Full Zoom to fill the entire Worksheet display area.
Full or Image Zoom to fill the entire Worksheet display area or if the window contains an image, zoom to the actual image size.

Window Style

Sets the GUI button and scrollbar properties of all the windows.

Standard Normal native GUI window style.
Standard with Scrollbars Normal native GUI window style with scrollbars.
Simple Non-overlapping windows with no buttons. Provides the fastest redraw rate.
Full with Scrollbars Native GUI windows with buttons and scrollbars.
Full with no Scrollbars Native GUI windows with buttons but no scrollbars.

Toolbar Style

Sets the display style of the Worksheet toolbar.

Raised Draw toolbar buttons with a raised 3D style. Selected buttons appear recessed.
Flat Draw toolbar buttons with a flat, borderless style. Selected buttons appear with a border.

Session File Name

Specifies the path and name for the session file. Initial configuration settings are specified in dadisp.cnf normally located in the installation folder. Configuration changes made at run time are saved in the session file and restored from this file on startup. Check Ignore Session to ignore run time settings on startup.


Temp Path

Specifies the path for temporary files. This folder must have read/write privileges for the user. If Automatic, the system default is used. Uncheck Automatic to enter a custom temporary path.


Recently Used Files

Sets the number of previously loaded Worksheets to list in the File Menu. Check Open Last Worksheet to load the previous internal Worksheet on startup. External Worksheet files (DWK) are not automatically loaded.


Recently Used Dialogs

Sets the number of previously invoked dialog box operations to list in the right click menu.


Misc

Specifies additional parameters to control the application behavior.

Beep Sounds a beep if an error occurs.
Comma Continuation Treats a trailing comma (,) to indicate continuation of commands entered into the command line. Useful when pasting multiple lines of text directly into the command line.
Accept Leading = Lets the = character start a command, similar to Excel.
TeX Units Processing Enables a subset of the TeX math formatting language for units display. See the:
Tools > Options > Settings & Colors > TeX
dialog to configure TeX processing for plot annotations.
Uppercase First Character Always capitalize the first character entered into the command line.
Show OEM Logo Display OEM logo and popup menu to the right of the command line.
Empty Window Edits Last Input Select to automatically display the last entered expression in the command line editor when it is selected and the window formula is empty. If disabled, the editor will show a blank line instead.
Click Plot Region to Drag Series Select to enable left-click dragging of a series from anywhere within the plot region. When disabled, the mouse must be positioned directly over the series to drag it.
