Specifies how dependent windows and hot variables update when a change is
made.
| Disabled | Prevents recalculation. A new window or variable formula can be assigned, but actual processing is suspended. Useful for setting up the formulae for a number of windows at one time without waiting for computations. Resetting the mode to Enabled initiates and enables calculations immediately. Resetting the mode to Paused enables calculations, but dependent windows update only after a change has been made. |
| Enabled | Normal mode. Changes to a window or hot variable causes all dependent windows or hot variables to immediately update. |
| Step | Steps one iteration at a time through cyclical calculations where windows or hot variables depend on themselves. Useful for validating cyclical analysis chains. |
| Paused | Calculations are enabled, but dependent windows do not immediately evaluate until a new formula is specified. Resets to Enabled after a window has changed. Useful when formulae are setup in Disabled mode and calculations should only resume after a change. | Current Window | Only the current window or hot variable calculates. As with Disabled, dependent windows or hot variables do not update. Allows the processing of a specified window without dependent window updates. |
Controls how changes to individual values propagate when editing
a window displayed as a table.
| No | Updates to dependent windows are suppressed. |
| Propagate Immediately | Dependent windows update immediately after each individual value is changed. |
| Propagate After All Edits | Dependent windows update after the entire editing processes for the window concludes. |
Specifies processing of windows or hot variables that are ultimately
dependent on themselves.
| Disabled | Cyclical formulae not accepted. |
| Enabled with Verification | Cyclical formulae accepted, but user verification is required. |
| Enabled | Cyclical formulae accepted without user verification. |
Sets the number of iterations to compute for cyclical formulae if enabled.
Defines windows that trigger updates in their dependent windows during plotting. An OnPlotCalc parent window dynamically recalculates its child windows whenever it is scrolled, expanded, compressed, zoomed, or otherwise plotted.
Child windows linked to an OnPlotCalc parent only process the visible segment of data currently displayed by the parent during plotting.
