Axes Settings

Sets linear or logarithmic scales for X and/or Y axes. For log scales, labels are positioned at each decade. Every sub-tic can be optionally labeled. Log tic labels can be shown in standard form or 10N exponential form.

Sets the left, right, top and bottom coordinates. Press the Autoscale button to automatically set the plot coordinates based on the current data.

By default, axes lay flush and extend over the entire plotting region. Set the Span to limit the width or height of the axes to a percentage of the plotting region.

Tic Marks

Sets the tic mark interval. Select Automatic to automatically determine the tic interval based on the displayed data.

A tic mark can be forced to always display at the first X or Y value. The tic marks can also be forced to remain fixed such that when the plot scrolls or sizes, the tic locations do not change though tic values still update to reflect the new plot position.

Scales Location

Sets the location of the scales to the Bottom or Top (X-axis), Left or Right (Y-axis), with or without labels in any combination.

Preserve Axis Settings

Select to force scales to remain at the current settings when new data is placed in the window. By default, scales automatically recalculate to accommodate new data.

Autoscale

Autoscale sets the plot coordinates based on the full data range or manually specified values as determined by Set Autoscale.

Set Autoscale

Press Set Autoscale to specify whether Autoscale computes the plot coordinates automatically based on the full data range or uses manually specified values.
