Read Only Labbooks
DADiSP can process Labbooks that are saved as read-only.
Worksheets, Datasets and Series can be viewed and processed. Of
course, saving and deleting operations are not valid in a
read-only Labbook.
The location of read-write temporary files
can be specified with the SPILL_FILE_DIR configuration parameter
or environment variable.
Read only Labbooks are useful for manipulating Data stored on
read only media, such as a CDROM.
