# SETWSX

## Purpose:

Sets the left and right locations of the
Worksheet.

## Syntax:

SETWSX(xleft, xright)

xleft |
- |
A real, the left location. If 0 <= **xleft** <= 1, **xleft**
is specified in normalized coordinates. If **xleft**
> 1, **xleft** is specified in
fixed pixels. |

xright |
- |
A real, the right location. If 0 <= **xright** <= 1, **xright**
is specified in normalized coordinates. If **xright**
> 1, **xright** is specified in
fixed pixels. |

## Example:

setwsx(0.1, 0.9)

The width of the displayed Worksheet is
adjusted such that the left and right margins are set to 10% of the total
Worksheet area width. The width of the displayed Worksheet is 80% of the
total Worksheet area width.

## Example:

setwsx(0.05, 0.95)

The location of the displayed Worksheet
is adjusted such that the left side of the Worksheet is 5% of the Worksheet
area width and the right side is 95% of the Worksheet area width. The
width of the displayed Worksheet is 90% of total the Worksheet area width.

## Example:

setwsx(10, 400)

The location of the displayed Worksheet
is adjusted such that the left side of the Worksheet is 10 pixels from
the left side of the Worksheet area and the right side of the Worksheet
is 400 pixels from the left side of the Worksheet area. The width of the
displayed Worksheet is 390 pixels.

## Example:

setwsx(100)

The location of the Worksheet area is
adjusted such that the left side of the displayed Worksheet is 100 pixels
from the left of the Worksheet area and the right side of the Worksheet
is unaffected resulting in a fixed left Worksheet margin of 100 pixels.

## Remarks:

If **xleft**
= **xright** = -1.0, the displayed
Worksheet is auto-sized to the total Worksheet area width.

The normal coordinate system is determined
such that 0.0, 0.0 is the upper left corner of the Worksheet area and
1.0, 1.0 is the lower right corner.

Because normalized coordinates essentially
specify the Worksheet size as a fraction of the Worksheet display area,
the relative size of the Worksheet will adjust as the size of the application
changes. Use device coordinates to fix the Worksheet to specific size
in pixels.

See SETWSCOORDS
to set all the coordinates of the Worksheet.
