Setting DADiSP's Printer Configuration

The following dadisp.cnf keywords are used to set DADiSP's printer configuration.

PRT_COLORMODE

Sets the default printing mode to Color (1) or Black & White (0). Note: for color PostScript screen dumps, set to 1.

PRT_SHADING

Turns "chiseled" line shading ON (1) or OFF (0). Note: for color PostScript screen dumps, set to 1.

PRNSCREEN_MODE

Sets the format for the output of the screen dump. Set to 0 for bitmap dump, 1 for PostScript, 2 for HPGL, (and 3 for Windows default printer driver). To create a screen dump, use the PRNSCREEN command. Screen dumps are sent to the appropriate output File in the current directory. That is, HPGL output is sent to the file specified in HPGL_FILE in dadisp.cnf or the output file set in the configuration menus; PostScript output is sent to the file specified in POSTSCRIPT_FILE in dadisp.cnf or the output file set in the configuration menus.

PRT_FONT (Windows only)

Choose one font for printing, or, to use all the different screen fonts which you have set in your Worksheet, comment it out. Windows also supports specific printer font type definitions, i.e. all of the screen font attributions can also be used for printer fonts - just use the prefix PRT_ with the parameter you are defining. For example: PRT_WINLABEL_FONT Arial

PRT_DECIMATE (Windows only)

Tells DADiSP to decimate the data. The number you use for the KEYVALUE is the factor by which DADiSP will decimate the data before sending it to the printer.

PRT_EXEC_PRINT (Windows only)

Set to 1 to automatically run the printer driver. If you set this to 0, you can send the meta file to the file specified by PRT_FILE.

PRT_FILE (Windows only)

Set to the desired meta file name.

PRT_X, PRT_Y (Windows only)

Sets the X and Y dimensions of the printed output.
