Setting DADiSP's Font Configuration

 

Although the fonts are included and can be configured in the dadisp.cnf file, it is much easier to use the FONTS option in the TOOLS pulldown menu in the Worksheet. This pops up a dialog box of your available fonts on your system, and you can select the style and size of the font.

 

LISTBOX_FONT

 

This font is used for all listboxes. The following commands display information in listboxes: FUNCTIONS, MACROS, VARS, EDIT, TABLE. It is recommended that you select a fixed width font. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, LISTBOX_FONT is mapped to font number 6.

 

MENU_FONT

 

This font is used for the menus accessible from the / button on the toolbar and the menulists which you create. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, MENU_FONT is mapped to font number 7.

 

NORM_FONT

 

This font is used for the command line, for display of x- and y-values when the first crosshair cursor is on, and for "big" text annotations. It is recommended that you select a fixed width font. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, NORM_FONT is mapped to font type 0.

 

PANEL_FONT

 

This font is used in panel / dialog box type menus. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, PANEL_FONT is mapped to font number 11.

 

POPBOX_FONT

 

This font is used for pop-up text boxes in DADiSP command files (displayed via @POP). When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, POPBOX_FONT is mapped to font number 3.

 

SMALL_FONT

 

This font is used for text displayed in tables, the axis tic mark labeling, "small" text annotations, and for the display of x- and y-values (or delta-x and delta-y values) when the vertical cursor is on. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, SMALL_FONT is mapped to font number 1.

 

STATLINE_FONT

 

This font is used for messages displayed on the Status line at the bottom of the screen, and for the display of delta-x and delta-y values when the second crosshair cursor is on. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, STATLINE_FONT is mapped to font number 2.

 

TOOLBAR_FONT

 

This font is used for the toolbar buttons. The size of the font will scale the buttons as well as the text on the buttons. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, TOOLBAR_FONT is mapped to font number 5.

 

USER1_FONT
USER2_FONT
USER3_FONT

 

The USERn fonts are provided for text annotation. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, USER1_FONT is mapped to font type 8, USER2_FONT is mapped to font type 9, and USER3_FONT is mapped to font number 10.

 

WINLABEL_FONT

 

This font is used to label the Window (with its formula or a specified label), and to label the x- and y-axis units. It is recommended that the user select a true type font. When using the TEXTCUR or TEXTANN functions, WINLABEL_FONT is mapped to font number 4.
