Setting DADiSP's Data Import Configuration

The following dadisp.cnf keywords are used to set DADiSP's Data Import configuration.

IMP_SILENT_FLAG

When the Import Utilities encounter an error in the import process, the error is displayed in the Status Line. Turning the message and error display OFF (set to 1) to disable these messages. This can also be done dynamically in the Import Utilities Dialog Box.

IMP_RESET_DEFAULTS

Certain import parameters retain their settings for subsequent data file imports. To return to the original default settings for the import parameters before each import, turn the Reset Defaults parameter ON (set to 1). This can also be done dynamically in the Import Utilities Dialog Box. If checked, the following parameters are reset: NUM_COLUMNS 1, FILE_TYPE ASCII, VERSION Next, RATE 1.0, OFFSET 0, BYTESWAP 0, VERT_UNITS Unspecified, HORZ_UNITS Sec.

IMP_SKIP_HEADER

DADiSP scans the data file header for DADiSP Import Keywords, regardless of the setting of the File Offset parameter. If the data file contains a DADiSP Import Keyword, it will overwrite the Keyword if it were set in a separate header file or in the interactive Import Utilities. To force DADiSP to skip the header in the data file completely, turn the Skip File Header parameter ON (set to 1).
