Achieving Results with the Binary Series

The binary series is powerful because it is a fast way to identify points of interest without referencing each point in the input series (or set of input series). With the logical and conditional operators, you can create complicated conditional statements to identify events, that reference one or many different series. When trying to solve a problem, and your first instinct is to write a loop, consider using a binary series instead; it often will provide efficient and elegant results.
