Command File Keystrokes and Functions

DADiSP understands standard character input that you would use during an interactive session. In order to represent the non-standard keys on your keyboard (e.g. HOME, END, ENTER, etc.), DADiSP includes a group of special keystrokes which begin with the "@" symbol to substitute in a command file. There is also a number of special command file functions which begin with the "@" symbol. These functions allow you to display messages and control command file execution. Each special keystroke and command file function is discussed in the following sections.

As you create the command file, think about how you would accomplish the steps if you were typing the commands at the command line during a DADiSP session. One of the most common DADiSP command file mistakes is forgetting to include an @CR in the command file where the [Enter] key is required.
