Accepting User Input

 

During your command file, you may want to query the user for information to complete the processing steps in the command file or allow the user to make decisions based upon the results of certain parts of the command file. There are a number of different ways to prompt the user for information during a command file; some methods requires you to include an @SUSPEND statement to force the command file to halt execution and allow the user to enter input, while other methods do not.
