Chapter Three:
DADiSP Macros

A macro is a user-defined function created by combining DADiSP Worksheet functions and/or previously defined macros. DADiSP macros are simply text substitutions. Once defined, a macro can be used to store a value or a calculated result.

A macro can be a string of very simple commands or a very complex formula. Some macros are so complex that they are, in effect, "small programs." This chapter describes how to create and use DADiSP macros, including:

  1. Composing Macros

  2. Editing Macros

  3. Saving Macros

  4. Working with Macro Files
