Using the SPLMAIN Function

If it is defined, DADiSP automatically invokes the function splmain at startup. This user defined function is extremely useful for customizing DADiSP via SPL routines. For example, to automatically create a custom random noise generation button in the eighth position of the first toolbar:

splmain()

{

    toolbar(1, 8, 4, red, "Rand", "Gnorm(100,.01)");

}

If this function is included in the file dadisp.spl, splmain is automatically loaded and executed at startup and the new button automatically appears in the toolbar. See the TOOLBAR function for more information on creating custom buttons.
